Overnight Photo Trip

The Camera Guild invites you to an unforgettable adventure in Page, AZ at the Page Balloon Regatta.  The Club has a very special rate at the Best Western View hotel of $109 per night, plus tax.  We are guaranteed top floor rooms looking west towards the red rocks of the Vermilion Cliffs and the Page Golf Course, where frequently the hot air balloons land.

Rise before sunrise to witness the balloons as they prepare to launch.  Return to the hotel, mere minutes away or find other locations to photograph the colorful balloons as they drift past.  The hotel has an open air deck on the second level, which is perfect to photograph balloons in the air, and depending on the wind, landing near the hotel.

Visit the natural wonder of Horseshoe Bend just 20 minutes from the hotel.  Book a tour to photograph Antelope Canyon.  Join other members on a scenic day cruise to photograph Rainbow Bridge.  Don't miss seeing the daily street fair.  On Saturday late afternoon a group dinner will be arranged.  After dinner walk outside to see the enchanting balloon glow that runs the length of Main Street.

If you want to check in on Friday the 31st rather than Thursday the 30th, that will be easy to do by calling the hotel.

The hotel reservation allows this special room rate through the weekend to Monday so that you won’t have to return to Sun City on I-17 on a Sunday.  Monday’s traffic will be much lighter.  When making your room reservation, you can make it for the number of nights you want.
