Travel Time / Distance: 2 1/2 hours

Restaurant: Two restaurants near the property.  In addition, the cabins and trail bunks have kitchenets full kitchens.

Accessibility: This is a forested mountain location with hiking trails, creeks and lakes nearby.  Most roads are paved.

Other Information (website address, etc.): Christopher Creek Lodge is in a forested mountainous area with many trails, the creek and lakes nearby. (https://christophercreeklodge.com/things-to-do/)  This offers many photographic opportunities in addition to shooting night Milky Way.  There are two cabins by the creek available these dates for $170 and $180 per night.  The Trail bunks are $110 and the motel rooms are $80.  I suggested two nights to give a better chance of cloudless skies and also two locations to shoot.  But we can do both or one or the other.  The manager said they could hold a block for a week, but after that the computer starts over.  So I didn't ask to hold anything until we find out how many will go.  The rooms must be paid for at the time you reserve it.  But you can cancel within ten days.  Here is the website for accommodations: Accommodations at Christopher Creek Lodge | Payson, AZ Cabins
